John Fish & Mary Hiatt Cemetery, Rockcastle County Kentucky

Cemetery Information

Fish and Hiatt Cemetery

  • Fish and Hiatt Cemetery LOCATION: Start at the Rockcastle/Lincoln County line on Route #150. Go westward on #150 .8 mile to a farmhouse road on the right. Turn right and go .2 mile to house. Park your car. The cemetery is about 200′ up the rise from the house. The cemetery is in a field and is fenced.
  • NOTE: There are two fenced sections; some graves marked with field stone’s only. There are probably other graves here but the weeds made it impossible to tell. The cemetery was once very large but the graves outside the fence were plowed out. Information for Hiatt Fish Carson is from an inventory in Lincoln County, KY Marriages 1780-1850 & Tombstone Inscriptions by Shirley Dunn, 1977. (This headstone was not found during the 1985 site visit.)
